That time I ate a whole Moruga Chocolate 7-pot pepper and the trippy moments that followed. While my soul was melting in liquid sunlight, the rest of the peppers were bathing in and absorbing as much of the bright stuff as they could. In Trinidad and Tobago, a ‘Sweet Hand’ belongs to any person who knows their way around a kitchen, possessing a hand so sweet that you’d beg to eat from it.
This was filmed a few years back when I was still a mere apprentice in my Aunty’s Moruga kitchen. I gave Candie some early Tamboo Bamboo sauce (Hot Tamarind) to try in her hammock.
